Who We Are
The principals and managers of The Neem Initiative are either Ugandans or are people deeply involved with humanitarian work in Uganda.  Let us introduce ourselves:

Lee B. Mulder
Founder of TNI and Founding Board Member, Juna Amagara Ministries

Lee is a retired journalist, entrepreneur and author who became involved with work of Juna Amagara in Uganda in 2003.  He holds a JBA Degree from the University of Wisconsin - Madison and has written a book about his experiences in Uganda entitled They Call Me Mzee:  One Man's Safari into Brightest Africa, available at Amazon or Google Books.  While researching trees that might be good for reforestation in the village, he discovered Neem and began asking "what if?" questions to people throughout Uganda.

Rev. Dr. Ben Tumuheirwe

Dr. Ben is a graduate of Makerere University in Uganda and Wheaton College in the U.S.  He holds three master's degrees and a PhD from Trinity International University in Deerfield, IL.  He is well-known in Uganda and the U.S. as a powerful speaker, strategic thinker and as the visionary for the organization that takes care of more than 500 AIDS orphans from pre-school through secondary school.  His role with The Neem Initiative is as a mentor and advisor and the Chairman of the TNI Board of Directors.

Obadiah Monday, Veterinarian
